USA PAVILION

The USA Pavilion at Expo 2020 celebrates “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of the Future.” 

This powerful theme reflects America’s commitment to promoting prosperity, opportunity, and innovation globally and domestically.

A strong feature of the USA Pavilion visitor experience will be culture and food as showcased in the Retail Gift Store and Food and Beverage stores and the Pavilion courtyard which will allow patrons to dine and be entertained below the Falcon 9 rocket, a stunning feature of the USA Pavilion.

The USA Pavilion will be one of the most popular national pavilions at Expo with over 4 million expected visitors.

 

Gift Store Manager

Start: From July 2021

Great opportunity for an experienced Retail Manager to lead, motivate and manage a dynamic team at the official store of the USA Pavilion.

Pre-event the Retail Manager will work closely with a specialist team of buyers and merchandisers to finalize visual presentation and develop streamline systems.

During the event the Retail Manager will be in-store leading their team to deliver retail excellence across sales, service and systems.

Candidates should have supervisory retail experience in a busy retail environment.  Understanding of fast-moving inventory and stock management will be highly advantageous, as will experience in managing retail teams and a thorough understanding of store procedures relating to stock management, sales reporting, merchandising and customer service.

Gift Store Duty Manager

Start: From July 2021

This is a key support role to the USA Pavilion Retail Manager and a unique opportunity for an experienced retail supervisor who is ready to take the next leap into a leadership role. 

Passionate about retail, the successful candidate will manage the operation of retail spaces in the Pavilion while on shift.  Tasks include managing the performance of customer service staff, cash handling and ensuring that customers have a positive experience in the retail space. 

Candidates should have proven capabilities in customer service excellence, merchandising, stock management and managing busy retail environments.

Food & Beverage Manager

Start: From July 2021

Great opportunity for an experienced F&B Manager passionate about delivering an innovative and authentic retail experience to customers in a fast-paced and quality-driven food outlet. 

The successful candidate will have proven capability in planning across all facets of front- of-house F&B operations.  Tasks include rostering, stock ordering and controls, point of sale, cash management, promotions and customer service. 

Excellent communication skills are a must, along with proven success in working co-operatively with both front of house and back of house teams to deliver seamless and high energy operations. 

Food & Beverage Duty Manager

Start: From September 2021

This is a key support role to the USA Pavilion F&B Manager and a unique opportunity for an experienced retail supervisor who is ready to take the next leap into a leadership role. 

Experienced in quick service F&B, the successful candidate will manage the operation of the F&B outlet while on shift.  Tasks include managing the performance of customer service staff, cash handling and ensuring that customers have a positive experience in the retail space. 

 Candidates should have proven capabilities in customer service excellence and be familiar with busy F&B environments.

Public Bar Manager

Start: From September 2021

The USA Pavilion will serve popular American beverages to complement the public F&B outlet and showcase American brands and flavours.

 Candidates must have experience in managing busy bar environments with proven skills in forecasting and managing stock levels to meet operational and customer demands.   Tasks also include managing the performance of customer service staff, cash handling and ensuring that the bar and surrounds are well-presented at all times.

This position will suit candidates who have previously managed busy bar environments and who are highly organised and take enjoyment from delivering great service in a busy environment.

Customer & Sales Attendants

Start: From September 2021

Be part of an enthusiastic retail sales team delivering quality customer service delivered through approachable, friendly, courteous, fast and efficient service delivery at the USA Pavilion.

The role requires enthusiasm towards developing strong product knowledge, delivering engaging customer service and working in accordance with store procedures.

Successful candidates will have demonstrated capabilities in retail sales and providing exceptional customer service.  Proven experience in a busy retail environment will be a distinct advantage as will the ability to be a team player who is self-motivated and flexible.

Customer Service & Sales Attendant Roles are available at both the USA Pavilion’s Gift Store and F&B outlet.
